If you're hiring for financial institutions, managerial positions, or any other money-handling roles, employment credit checks provide insight into the financial history of a job candidate or current employee.

Credit Verification Process

Because credit information is highly sensitive, employers must meet legal requirements before they can purchase a credit check. The employer must be verified with GoodHire, answer questions online to determine eligibility to run credit checks, and upload all legal documentation.

A certified site inspector will then run an on-site inspection of the business premises to verify business legitimacy. Once verified, you can run employment credit checks with GoodHire right away. This process protects the candidate and employee privacy, and complies with legal regulations are met prior to purchasing credit checks.

How to get verified to purchase GoodHire Employment Credit Checks

How It Works

  • If you are a new user, you can view the credit landing page and request to get verified as a GoodHire employer
  • On the Welcome Modal, click Create a GoodHire account to verify My Company and Credit eligibility

  • Complete our Free Sign Up process
Answering questions during GoodHire Employment Credit Check verification
  • Once verified, answer 6 questions online to determine your company’s eligibility to purchase Credit Reports

  • Submit legal documentation to GoodHire
  • We will send an on-site inspector to your business to be verified as a legitimate business
  • You will get approved in 3-5 days to view credit checks
  • You can now order credit checks as part of your report packages.
